  What I’m doing at the festival:

  I do my best to pretend I’m running it, but with such a good team of professionals and enthusiasts, it’s actually a piece of cake.

  Why I work at the festival:

  Since I was 15 years old I have been a notorious organiser of large or small sporting, cultural or charity events. I tried to abstain for almost three years, but thanks to Noir I fell back into the addiction. 🙂

  What I do when I’m not working at the festival:

  I try to „juggle with §§“, mainly for the benefit of well-known and lesser-known artists, otherwise I like to wander in the woods and valleys.

  What I’m doing at the festival:

  I create the program, introduce films, write for the catalogue, talk to visitors, neglect sleep and family.

  Why I work at the festival:

  Because film noir has been a thing of my heart for some fifteen years now.

  What I do when I’m not working at the festival:

  I teach and write about film at Palacký University in Olomouc, my wife and I are trying to raise two sons, I travel and check off the places I visit in Lukáš Hejlík’s Gastromap.

  What I’m doing at the festival:

  I’m new to the festival, so I’m mainly learning as I go:). My area is tickets and the festival centre.

  Why I work at the festival:

  I got to work at the festival by a complete accident of life, I was offered the job by Vítek and the festival at the castle appealed to me so much that I couldn’t refuse the offer, even though I don’t have any experience in organizing similar events yet.

  What I do when I’m not working at the festival:

  When I’m not working at the festival, I’m studying or teaching, and I love to travel and explore – people, cultures, landscapes, food, all sorts of things.

  What I’m doing at the festival:

  I provide production and accommodation. I make sure that you enjoy your festival and that you don’t miss anything during it. From providing a chair to sit on to a bed to lie down in after the film experience.

  Why I work at the festival:

  Noir Film Festival has become my summer drug of choice. I can’t just lie on the beach in the summer. 🙂

  What I do when I’m not working at the festival:

  I devote all my „free“ time to my family, friends and working in my small business, in short, full-time production.

  What I’m doing at the festival:

  I am working on the visual identity of the festival.

  Why I work at the festival:

  The black and white world has always amazed me. In noir, light and dark are a perfect contrast, and I love that.

  What I do when I’m not working at the festival:

  I create packaging design for leading food brands… and enjoying life. 🙂

  Why I work at the festival:

  Thanks to František I came across a very beautiful work that appealed to me not only for its black and white touch, but also for its content.

  What I do when I’m not working at the festival:

  I’ve primarily been designing graphics for the last 5 years and occasionally return to web design, which I’ve been doing for a quarter of a century.
